Register Your Server

Register your PLP server in the registry. You can activate it later when your server is ready.

1

Run the Installation Command

Copy and run this command to register your server:

npx @plp/registry install 8922de3a8011cd13a2f3bda2558f5750 \
  --vendor-name "YOUR-SERVICE-NAME"

Replace YOUR-SERVICE-NAME with your service name.

Optional: Add --vendor-slug "custom-slug" for a custom URL.

2

Manage Your Server

After installation, use the management dashboard to:

  • Activate your server when it's ready
  • Run compliance tests
  • Update your listing details
  • Toggle public/private visibility
3

Activate When Ready

When your PLP server is ready, activate it via CLI or web UI:

npx @plp/registry activate https://your-server.com/v1

The registry will run compliance tests against your server. Compliance is re-checked periodically.

Important Notes

  • Your installation hash is permanent - save it securely
  • Your listing starts as private until you choose to make it public
  • You can register now and activate later when your server is ready
  • Compliance tests are run by the registry, not self-reported
